Processing Paris Showreel Masterclass

Processing Paris Workshops 2011 from Processing Paris on Vimeo.

This is a selection of work created during the two day Processing Paris Masterclass workshop that took place in April 2011 at La Fonderie de L’Image in Paris.

The workshop was led by Hartmut Bohnacker and developed ideas based on various physics engines, libraries and concepts. Some of libraries used included Karsten Schmidt’s most excellent set of tools, Toxiclibs and Ricard Marxer’s Fisica.

Processing Cities

The first edition of Processing Paris took place in April 2010 and we have just finshed our second edition. In March 2011, Cedric Kiefer and Andreas Köberle set up a series of meetups and events in Berlin called Processing Berlin. You can read more about their activities on this web site :

http://www.processingberlin.com/

Processing Berlin and Processing Paris share the same activities and goals and would like to encourage other people to take up similar initiatives. If you would like to organise a similar series of events in your town or city, we would love to hear from you and help you in getting the word around. We simply ask of you to keep the Processing (name of city/town) formula.

Day Two

Full on in to the last day of Processing Paris here, playing a few tunes from Arctic Sunrise whilst the Processing peeps code away. Many amazing ideas and creations are taking form. Check >>>

First Day

The first day is coming to a close and we wonder what those processing peeps have been up to all this time. Well, to be quite honest, we won’t find out until tomorrow. So in the meantime a few photos taken from the first day can be found here.

Processing Paris Kicks Off !

Processing Paris 2011 started early this morning with a series of conferences from Julien Gachadoat, Christian Delecluse and Hartmut Bohnacker. We are really happy to announce almost a complete turnout with participants coming from England, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Poland and of course from all over France too.

We are set for two days of creative coding with Processing !
